Balsam of Life Purple Bottle Floral Arrangement

$42.00
An exquisite lavender glass bottle with the embossed words, "Balsam of Life". Turlington's Balsam of Life was a patent medicine developed by English merchant Robert Turlington. He obtained a royal patent from King George II in 1744, one of the earliest medical patents in England. The bottle is shaped like the Kings Patent Shield. The medicine was meant to help treat "kidney and bladder stones, cholic, and inward weakness."
Now this quaint little bottle has been turned into a lovely floral arrangement, perfect for a small spot on a bookshelf, side table, or anywhere you keep your knick knacks. And you'll get a little colorful piece of history as well! I have filled the bottle with large dusty purple daisies as well as some mums and burnt orange snowballs.
